Terrence Romeo Denies Relationship With Vice GandaPhilippine Basketball Association's (PBA) rising star Terrence Romeo has finally put to rest rumors that he had a relationship with Vice Ganda.
Terrence has been linked to Vice since his days with the Far Eastern University Tamaraws. Vice is an open supporter of the UAAP basketball team.
For a time, the rumors were silenced because Vice kept private about his relationship. But two weeks ago, the comedian-TV host revealed that he has broken up with his boyfriend because he wants him to have a normal life.
He tweeted: "It's over." He followed this with another message: "i TRied but im TiRed. time To Rest." The capitalization of the letters T and R has fueled again reports that he was talking about Terrence.
A Facebook page, believed to belong to the PBA rookie, denied the rumors and asked the public to stop spreading lies about him. He threatened that he will delete all his social media accounts if such rumors did not stop.
Terrence, however, said he was not the owner of the Facebook page. But he was thankful that whoever it was tried to clear his name. He long wanted to address this particular issue.
"Sana matapos na 'yung isyu na 'yan, dahil paulit ulit lang naman na hindi katotohanan! Isang multo yan ng imahe ko na gusto ko nang mabura totally. Sana huwag na silang gumawa ng mga bagay na hindi totoo. Sariling buhay na lang nila yung pansinin nila."
Even his father, William, talked about the issue. He didn't want to comment about it at first because he was afraid that he might say something offending. However, he is tired of the issue that has been pestering his son ever since his FEU days.
He wanted to talk to Vice about the rumors, specifically because the comedian-TV host once hinted that Terrence was pursuing him. His wife, however, stopped him from doing so.
William said he thought Terrence to do good. And if ever the rumors are true, then that only means that Terrence did not follow his teachings. "Pero si Terrence, kumpleto ng aral sa akin 'yan. Pinaiiwas ko siya sa mga bagay na hindi mabuti."
He also denied rumors saying Vice gave Terrence a condo unit and an SUV Hummer. He said his son lives in a condo provided by GlobalPort, his PBA team, and drives only one car.
He dared anyone who said otherwise to visit Terrence in his condo unit to prove that they were telling the truth.
Asked for a message for Vice, William said there's nothing he needs to say because if he will give a message, it may not sound good at all.
