Claudine Barretto Regrets Marrying Raymart SantiagoClaudine Barretto said she wished she never married estranged husband Raymart Santiago, going so far as saying she does not feel any respect for him, even as the father of her children.
Claudine accused Raymart and his camp of trying to clean his name by not telling in an interview with "Startalk" that there was a warrant of arrest issued against him by the Marikina Regional Trial Court last May 5.
The interview happened on May 18. Atty. Ruth Castelo, Raymart's lawyer, said they decided to remain mum about the warrant since no one asked them about it. Raymart already posted bail on May 7, even before the warrant was served to him.
Raymart was found to have violated RA 9262 or the Violence Against Women and their Children Act. The case was filed by Claudine in August of last year.
In that same interview, Raymart said he has no love left for Claudine and there is no possibility for them to get back together.
"And I think i'ts just fair enough na after I said na pinakamalaki kong pagsisisi [na] pakasalan siya, na nakilala ko siya."
Meanwhile, Claudine posted on her Instagram account a photo of her together with Raffy Tulfo, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio and an unidentified woman. Raffy is the younger brother of Mon Tulfo, who Claudine and Raymart had an altercation with at the NAIA Terminal 3 in 2012.
It can be remembered that the Tulfo brothers--Raffy and Erwin--went to their brother's defense and threatened both Claudine and Raymart. The couple filed grave threats against the brothers, which also led to the suspension of their TV program.
In the Instagram photo, Claudine was seen with her arm linked to Raffy's while the broadcaster was all smiles.
Atty. Ferdinand said it was just an accidental meeting in a restaurant in Sulu Hotel in Quezon City last May 22.
The Tulfo brothers are friends of the lawyer, and he thought it's about time to settle the issue. The two camps agreed to forget about the issue in 2012.
