Edu Manzano Will Support Luis Manzano In Wedding Or Political Plans

Edu Manzano said his son Luis Manzano never opens up about him about his plans to tie the knot with girlfriend Angel Locsin. He also doesn't know if Luis will really run as mayor of Lipa, Batangas in 2016.

But whatever Luis wants to do, Edu said he will surely support his son. Luis is already 30 years old, so he can do whatever he wants in his life. All Edu tells him is that there will always be sacrifices.

Luis must give priority to something and choose to serve the people if he runs for mayor. He must be ready to serve; that should be the focus of his existence, Edu said.

Never did Edu oppose to Luis' plans of running for mayor. He wants him to realize that there will definitely be sacrifices on his part.

Edu was vice mayor of Makati in 1998, and he was also chairman of the Optical Media Board in 2004. In 2001, he run as mayor of Makati, but he unfortunately lost. He also run as vice president in 2010, but he also lost that race.

The actor said it's hard for anyone to balance showbiz and politics because one has to be sacrificed. "Whether he decides to stay in the business or quit, bahala siya."

Edu shared that Luis does not talk to him about his lovelife. Since Luis is already of age, it is within his right to decide whether or not he wants to settle down already.

As parents, he and Vilma don't have any right to interfere into Luis' life.

When it comes to his lovelife, Edu said he has many mistakes already but as a father, he thinks he did a pretty good job.

Meanwhile, Edu said he has no plans to tie the knot again. He's happy with the relationship he has with his children. They get to travel around the world and spend time with each other.

Edu is single now and mingling around with other people.
