BB Gandanghari Says Brother Robin Padilla Has Not Completely Accepted HimAlthough his brother Robin Padilla already accepted the fact that Rustom Padilla no longer exists and has BB Gandanghari for a "sister" instead, BB said that he has not fully and completely sold out to the idea.
He can see that Robin is trying to understand him, but he is still finding it hard to do so. He can also see his willingness to accept him completely. BB is patient though.
After all, if he found it hard to accept himself, what more his family? They might find it harder, he said.
BB regrets coming out on "Pinoy Big Brother" in 2006 because he came off as a "gay man" when in fact, he is a transgender. It is a term for people whose gender identity is different from the sex they were assigned at birth.
There's a difference, BB explained, because he never even had a boyfriend or a relationship when he hid in America after an annulment from ex-wife Carmina Villaroel.
BB said that three years after that confession, he realized what he is--a transgender. Now, he finds it hard to explain to his family and friends the concept of this term.
BB is a guest of "Tapatan Ni Tunying" this Thursday (July 10).
Meanwhile, another guest is Senator Antonio "Sonny" Trillanes, who confirmed that he will be running for a higher post in 2016 after only two terms in the Senate.
He is currently in the process of preparing for the 2016 polls, he said. The senator, however, has still not decided whether he will run for vice president or president.
"Tapatan Ni Tunying" will air on July 10 (Thursday) at 4PM.
