Marian Rivera Settles Issue With Bela PadillaMarian Rivera and Bela Padilla finally ended their rift when Bela guested on her show, "Marian." It was Sarah Lahbati who made their reconciliation possible.
Marian said it's about time she settles their issue with each other. In the past, the primetime actress reportedly locked Bela in a room because she was jealous of her partnership with boyfriend Dingdong Dantes.
The actress shared that the reconciliation happened after she talked with Sarah during one of Dingdong Dantes' and Richard Gutierrez's motorcycling events. Sarah told Marian that Bela wanted to fix their issues already.
She also asked Marian not be awkward around her because she's close friends with Bela. Marian said she's not the kind of person who will take it against Sarah that she happened to be friends with someone she's not comfortable with.
She then realized it's about time for her and Bela to settle their differences. She asked Sarah and Bela to guest on her show, "Marian." She also invited Sam Pinto, who she had an issue with before.
During her birthday episode, Marian revealed that she wants to guest her close friends, Rochelle Pangilinan, Roxanne Barcelo (Roxee B.) and Ana Feleo.
Since she will be celebrating her birthday this August, the Kapuso primetime queen was asked what birthday gift she would want to receive. Marian said she wants to stay humble and just say that she's contented with her life, but she vowed to make this birthday her happiest yet.
Marian, on the other hand, didn't comment on reports that Lovi Poe snubbed her. This was after Marian and Dingdong cross paths with the actress, and Lovi allegedly only greeted Dingdong and ignored Marian.
Dingdong and Lovi are working together in GMA-7's drama series, "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real."
Marian and Lovi used to be close friends when they worked together for the comedy series "Show Me Da Manny." But the two went their separate ways when Marian had an issue with Heart Evangelista on the set of "Temptation Island" in 2011. Lovi was also part of that movie. She is close friends with Heart.
Meanwhile, Marian's opinion was asked regarding the slapping scenes Dingdong had to do with Maricel Soriano in "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real." In the show, Maricel's character, Millet, just found out that her husband Anthony (Dingdong) is married to another girl, Sheila (Lovi).
Marian said Dingdong texted her before the scene was shot, informing her that he was about to do it already. She wished him good luck. Dingdong texted back when the scene was done.
A lot of people texted her about the scene, but Marian said she cannot watch it because she also felt bad for Dingdong because she knows the slaps hurt him. That only means the characters are effective in their roles.
Maricel immediately apologized to Dingdong after the scenes if she went overboard. Marian said that Dingdong wouldn't mind those scenes because that's for work and he is very dedicated to his craft.
The most important thing is they were able to do their job to the best of their abilities, Marian said.
