Richard Gomez Tells TV5 OffRichard Gomez told TV5 to manage their schedule well because they are only wasting everyone's time, and also the talent fees they are paying them, if they won't be able to air the show Richard taped with Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Richard and Sharon did "My Pirated Family" way back. It was supposed to air after Ogie Alcasid's "Confessions Of A Torpe" this June but until now, TV5 has yet to tell them of their plans for the show.
Richard then tweeted something about the management's decision-making, but he cleared that this was not against Sharon as previously reported. He was honest enough to say that he had an issue with TV5 because of scheduling problems. Fortunately, TV5 listened to him and started fixing the schedule.
The actor said he just feels bad if the show will not air. He also felt like TV5 will be wasting the talent fees they paid them if they won't use the show.
He just wanted to be honest with his feelings. Richard believes nothing is wrong if he will air out his grievances against the network or the show's management.
In truth, Richard said it won't be a problem for him if the show doesn't air. He will still tape for the show, and he will earn money whether or not the show aired.
But he is simply concerned for TV5 since it's just starting and struggling. This is his way of helping them, so they will be able to address the problem.
Richard said TV5 needs the "right mix" to be considered at par with ABS-CBN and GMA-7. In time, they will get where they want to be. If you will check out TV5's lineup, they have some of the biggest stars--Sharon, Aga Muhlach, Alice Dixson, Ogie Alcasid and even Robin Padilla.
Once in a while, Richard also does a show for TV5. "So, it’s just really finding the right mix, the right programs for the stars."
Meanwhile, Richard already resigned as wife Lucy Torres-Gomez's chief of staff. He said it takes a toll on him because he has to deal with a lot of government offices and manage the projects in the fourth district of Leyte province.
Lucy is the congresswoman of Leyte fourth district.
Richard told his wife that he will just find her another chief of staff to work for her. He will just help in managing the projects in the district, so he can go back to his work as an actor.
If one day Lucy decided to stop her public service, Richard is still willing to run as congressman of the province. This is despite the fact that he continuously lost when he run for public office.
Richard said that's how life goes--you lose and try again to reach your goals.
