Lovi Poe Denies Issue With Marian Rivera

Lovi Poe finally spoke about her alleged rift with Kapuso primetime actress Marian Rivera. Lovi denied the reports, and said she has such a high respect for Marian.

This came out amid reports that it was Lovi who initially snubbed the primetime actress when she only greeted Marian's boyfriend and Lovi's "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real" co-star, Dingdong Dantes, when they bumped into each other at the GMA Network parking lot.

At the backstage of "Sunday All Stars," Marian apparently had her revenge when she only greeted Solenn Heussaff, who was sitting beside Lovi that time. Marian, Solenn, Lovi and Heart Evangelista all starred in the movie "Temptation Island" in 2011.

Solenn, Lovi and Heart are known to be close friends. On the other hand, Marian and Heart had a well-publicized rift.

Lovi said she was never the type of person to get into fights. She was simply there to work and be professional. She hoped that everybody can be just mature and professional about this issue.

She doesn't mind that she is being pinpointed as the one who started the issue because she didn't greet Marian at that parking lot. Lovi said she is simply there to give her best performance.

She also doesn't expect that her working relationship with Dingdong will be affected now that there is an issue between her and his girlfriend.

Lovi denied that Heart was the reason why the issue cropped up. She was surprised that her friend's name was dragged into the issue. She's fine now, and that's the last thing she wants to say about the issue.

Asked if she wants to reconcile with Marian, Lovi hinted that there was nothing to fix between them because she respects Marian a lot. There's nothing to fix, the actress added, and she personally has no problem with Marian.
