Maja Salvador Buries The Hatchet With Kim ChiuMaja Salvador, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson have finally settled the rift that turned their complicated relationships into a fiesta a year ago.
Maja was Kim's former bestfriend while Gerald was her ex-boyfriend. Maja was the one Kim run to when she was having troubles moving on from the actor. However, as luck would have it, Maja and Gerald fell in love and have been together ever since the controversy last year.
Maja said they have all moved on from what happened. It's 2014 already, so everybody should be happy and should remain positive. She said, though, that her closeness with Kim hasn't really gone back. She is taking it one step at a time, and she's happy they are finally talking again.
Like Kim, she is also open to working with her former friend if the right project comes along like "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" where they first acted together.
Maja, however, is not too keen to work with Kim and Gerald together. She said she has to protect herself, too, and she doesn't want themselves to be in the middle of another controversy.
It is better if they just deal with their respective careers. She also doesn't want to work with Gerald in a project since they want to keep the privacy of their relationship intact.
Maja just came back from a Star Magic tour in South Africa with Julia Barretto, Kathryn Bernardo and Erich Gonzales. She just finished working for "The Legal Wife" while Gerald finished his work for "Dyesebel," so the actor followed her to South Africa.
They were able to have a mini vacation for two days, but Maja said she was happy also to spend time with the younger generation of Star Magic artists.
Although they are open about their relationship, Maja and Gerald want to keep the details private because that's what makes their relationship stronger.
It's important that both of them agreed on how to deal with each situation. She is also thankful that Gerald also knows how to handle their relationship.
Meanwhile, Maja just signed a two-year contract with ABS-CBN. She will be doing another series with the network.
After her controversial role in "The Legal Wife," Maja said she will be playing someone who's nice on her next teleserye. She's happy that she will be given a chance to work for the network again.
She cannot announce yet the details of her new show, but she will be meeting with the production soon.
Maja said she's not really choosy when it comes to her roles because as an artist, she has to be able to play all kinds of characters.
