Denise Laurel Is Back To Star MagicDenise Laurel is finally back as a Star Magic artist after she left the management of Alfred Vegafria of ALV Talent Circuit.
Denise said she's at a different chapter in her life now, and she's just thankful that Alfred allowed her to go back to Star Magic. It's nice that Alfred understands she's doing it for her future and for her son, Alejandro.
It was a sudden decision on her part, and she didn't expect that something will be offered to her. They were working on something else and then, this came up. Alfred, as godson to her son, understood her decision.
Denise said she knows Alfred is disappointed with her, and she will remain grateful to him. If not for him, she would never have met Direk Lauren Dyogi and she wouldn't have the projects she had. However, it also feels nice to go back home to Star Magic.
Denise was discovered by Star Magic's Johnny Manahan and even during the time she was under ALV, she always says that it was Mr. M who discovered her.
"I think with each chapter of your life, you go through a lot of things, I think this is a new phase in my life."
Denise knows that Alfred is disappointed at her, but she would like him to know that she appreciates everything he did for her. Even though Alfred said it's okay, Denise is sure that her decision still hurts him.
They've gone through so much together. When she got pregnant, Alfred was with her. When she was offered the Pantene commercial, Alfred was with her also. Even during her "Precious Heart" days, it was Alfred who was by her side.
She signed a two-year contract with ABS-CBN. Denise said she's open to whatever the network throws her way. Whatever they will give to her, Denise will make sure she will give her 200 percent to it. She previously did "Annaliza," "Paraiso," "Pintada" and "Dahil Sa Pag-Ibig" on ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, Denise gushed about her son, Alejandro. Before she went to her contract signing, Alejandro wants to go with her but she declined, saying kids are not allowed there.
Denise also talked about her boyfriend, Sol Mercado of San Miguel Beermen. They have been together three years, but they have not spoken about marriage yet because they are still working on their individual dreams.
The actress said they might settle down two years from now. They are preparing for a lot of things, like the dream place where they will raise their family.
They don't live in together, so that's something they will look forward to once they are married. Sol and Alejandro get along well together, Denise said, adding that they are "made for each other."
