Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo Hopes For The Best For Claudine BarrettoAlthough they were rivals in the 1990s and they were never close friends, Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo said she hopes the best for Claudine Barretto, who is now in the middle of a controversy with her estranged husband Raymart Santiago.
Judy Ann seems to have it all--a successful and steady career, and a happy family life with husband Ryan Agoncillo.
She has laid low from doing teleseryes, but she is busy hosting reality shows on her home network, ABS-CBN. She feels bad that Claudine's marriage with Raymart failed because as with any relationships, there was love, friendship and respect before the separation.
"I still wish for Claudine na makabalik siya, kasi mahusay naman talaga siyang artista."
Claudine is not the kind of actress the public can forget. Judy Ann wished that she will be given the chance to show her skills again and her passion for acting.
She said she is also happy for another contemporary of hers, Jolina Magdangal, who is now married to musician Mark Escueta.
Jolina is blooming, the actress-TV host said, adding that she is happy to see Jolina's Instagram post with her baby. She finally found her true happiness, Judy Ann said.
This is what Jolina has been praying for. The happiness she saw on her when she got married was still the same happiness she is seeing now that they have a baby in the family.
Jolina truly deserves it, Judy Ann said.
Meanwhile, like her husband Ryan, Judy Ann said she is not open to joining politics. She would not be able to deal with the stress of politics.
Judy Ann said her brother, Jeffrey Santos, was the one who's involved in politics because he likes being with people.
Batangas Governor and Star For All Seasons Vilma Santos-Recto also never thought to enter politics before, but look at her now.
Although she doesn't want to close any doors, Judy Ann said she doesn't see herself being in politics. She gives props to those who can balance showbiz and politics, though. She also said that nobody has offered for her to run in any government position.
She just wants to help without fanfare and without someone dictating what she should do and how she should do it. She also doesn't want to be tied to an obligation she may not be able to fulfill.
Judy Ann is too busy with her family life to think about fixing the problems of a whole town.
One day, the actress is sure there will be offers for her and Ryan to run for government posts. Hopefully, the public will be able to respect their decision, and they won't criticize them for being proud.
