Daniel Matsunaga Wants To Be A Naturalized FilipinoBrazilian-Japanese model and "Pinoy Big Brother All In" Big Winner Daniel Matsunaga reveals that he wants to be a naturalized Filipino.
He also plans to bring his whole family here from Brazil, and is simply waiting for his father to retire from his job. His sister, Vanessa, is also a model here and is married to a Filipino.
His father told him he may need two more years to finish his job in Brazil. Daniel said he wants to stay in the country for the rest of his life.
Daniel, a professional football player in Brazil, also plans to enroll and play for the Azkals. He wants to be a part of it, and he wants to bring honor to the Philippines.
In an interview in "Tapatan Ni Tunying," Daniel said he never had an opportunity the kind that the Philippines gave him. "I never had this in my entire life so I really love this country."
He further reiterates that he considers himself a true Filipino at heart despite criticisms that he did not deserve to win the Big Winner title because he has no Filipino blood.
"We can’t choose where we are born, but we choose where we belong." He's been living in the Philippines for five years, and he considers himself a Filipino already.
Meanwhile, the episode of "Tapatan Ni Tunying" also featured Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Dinky Soliman. She revealed that she plans to retire from government work in 2016.
Soliman, who served under former President Gloria Arroyo and President Noynoy Aquino, compared the two leaders.
