Billy Crawford And Coleen Garcia Take A Break From "It's Showtime""It's Showtime" co-hosts and real-life couple Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia will take a break from the hit noontime show after the TV host-actor was involved in an altercation over the weekend.
Billy was detained and arrested on the early morning of Sunday for causing a commotion in a Taguig Community Precinct. Apparently, the actor-TV host went there drunk at 4AM on Sunday and asked to be detained because he does not want to hurt anyone.
When the police did not detain him, Billy kicked and damaged a sliding glass door. He will be facing charges for the incident.
Kim Atienza, one of the couple's co-hosts, said that Billy and Coleen won't be a part of the show for a while. It is not clear if the two were suspended or were just taking a vacation. It was also not revealed why Coleen was involved in this incident when she was not with Billy during his detention.
Their co-hosts offered a prayer for them during the show. They also sent messages to the couple, with Vhong asking Billy to rest and reminding him that they are there for him. Anne, for her part, also asked Coleen to take a rest and make sure she's alright.
Billy already posted bail and was out of detention. He denied punching a desk officer as previously reported. Coleen took to Twitter and defended her boyfriend against the bashing and criticisms.
The "It's Showtime" hosts have been involved in controversies one after the other. Anne admitted to acting out while she was drunk in a bar last year, Vhong was involved in a rape-mauling incident in January, and Vice was criticized for his rape jokes against GMA-7's Jessica Soho.
