Jennylyn Mercado Is Excited For Her Trip To LondonJennylyn Mercado will have a show in London this September 13. This is the first time Jen will tour the European city.
It has always been hers and her mother's dream to visit London, so they will tour around other European cities after her show. They are scheduled to visit Paris, as well as watch Rachelle Ann Go in "Miss Saigon."
Rachelle plays Gigi in the West End production of "Miss Saigon." The two became friends during Rachelle's stint on "Sunday All Stars."
Jen will be in Europe for two weeks. Although she doesn't have a special someone now, Jen is happy to spend time with her Mommy Lydia in London.
This is the first time she will be away from her son, Alex Jazz, for that long a period. Jen said Alex Jazz cannot go with her because he still has school.
She will make sure all her relatives will stay in her house, and they won't be allowed to have a day off, so they can spend time and focus on Alex Jazz.
Jen still maintains her sexy body through triathlon training. Although it is hard, the actress-singer said she pushes through with it because it works for her.
Meanwhile, Jen hinted that she may have a part in the comeback of the hit artista search "Starstruck" that catapulted her to fame.
"Starstruck," Jen said, will definitely offer something new to the viewers. But unlike her audition, the actress-singer noted that the lines for the auditions are too long that some are spending the night outside GMA's building.
Her message to would-be contestants is simple enough: they need patience and perseverance. Not everyone is blessed to have an opportunity like "Starstruck," so they should smarten themselves up once they are on the stage.
Jen is currently taping for "Second Chances," her teleserye with Luis Alandy, Raymart Santiago, Rafael Rosell and Camille Prats.
She has a good relationship with her co-stars since she already worked with Raymart in "Footbulilit" while Luis and Camille are good friends of hers. This is her first time to work with Rafael, but Jen said they are already comfortable with each other.
Aside from "Second Chances," she also has a cooking show, "Sarap With Family Season 3," a new album that will be launched in September, and a movie with Derek Ramsay for the Metro Manila Film Festival.
