Jodi Sta. Maria Still Wants To Become A DoctorJodi Sta. Maria, despite having a successful career in showbiz, will still pursue her dream of becoming a doctor to serve as an inspiration to her son, Thirdy.
Jodi said she doesn't want to see herself in a situation wherein she will have to force her son to go to school, but he would tell her that she didn't even finish her own studies.
Jodi stopped schooling before her fourth year of high school because she became busy with her showbiz career. She eventually finished her secondary schooling when she was 28 years old, and decided to pursue medical biology at the De La Salle University in Dasmarinas.
The actress said she doesn't know yet how to divide her time although eventually, she will still go back to school and finish what she started.
Jodi currently stars in the hit morning series "Be Careful With My Heart" and the remake of the thriller movie "Maria Leonora Teresa."
She also clarified rumors that she and her boyfriend, Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla, have already broken up. She insisted that their relationship remains strong.
They admittedly faced problems throughout the years, but Jodi believes these are just part of the learning process. Hopefully, they learn from their mistakes.
