Sam Concepcion And Jasmine Curtis-Smith Star In "Wattpad Series"Real-life couple Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Sam Concepcion were both surprised to have a comfortable working relationship while doing "Wattpad Series: My Tag Boyfriend" for TV5.
Although Sam is a talent of ABS-CBN, he was able to do the show with his girlfriend, Jasmine, who was an exclusive talent of TV5.
Sam said they found it very natural to work with each other. At first, they thought it was going to be weird and awkward, but their professional side kicked in.
It felt like work, but it was also very light, Sam said, adding that they got to spend time together on-screen and off-screen.
When they don't have scenes yet, Sam and Jasmine just talk and joke around. Once they have to do a scene, they immediately act professional about it.
Jasmine said they already know each other well, so they know how to deliver a dialogue or attack a certain scene together.
Sam and Jasmine want to work with each other in the future again. Sam said he hopes there can be a project for them.
The couple was asked if they are feeling the pressure of having a successful Wattpad series like KathNiel's "She's Dating The Gangster," and JaDine's "Ang Diary Ng Panget" and "Talk Back and You're Dead."
Jasmine said she's happy as long as she has work, no matter what it is, with what network and with what show. As long as it's good content, then she will believe in it.
She will feel lucky, though, if the people like the idea of her show, and if their loveteam becomes effective.
Sam, for his part, is confident with the show. Aside from the fact that it has become a trend and it has many hits online, it is also a production made for TV, so many more people will have access to it.
Jasmine said the response from their fans has been mostly positive. Before they did the show, many of them want them to be together in real life. What more now that they have a show together? Jasmine is sure they will be ecstatic.
Even their individual fans eventually become fans of their relationship, she added.
