Daniel Padilla Admits Audio RecordingTeen king Daniel Padilla admitted that he was the one in the controversial audio recording where he was heard feeling giddy about Jasmine Curtis-Smith's text messages.
In the recording, Daniel can be heard allegedly lambasting Sam Concepcion, Jasmine's boyfriend. Daniel and Jasmine were co-stars in "Bonifacio: Ang Unang Yugto."
The teen king also revealed that it was his friend who recorded the audio and uploaded it in YouTube. He was hurt that he was betrayed by his friend, but he already accepted it.
He thanked his fans for supporting him, adding that this incident revealed to him who his true friends and supporters are.
He already explained everything to his on-screen partner, Kathryn Bernardo, who immediately forgave him. Daniel is thankful that Kathryn, who he has been pursuing, understood him.
Daniel readily admitted he made a mistake. He asked his fans not to drag people into the controversy. Jasmine is being bashed by the KathNiel fans in social media sites.
"Kung may sisisihin dito, ako lang siguro yun, kaya ako na lang po."
Meanwhile, Jasmine also commented on the audio scandal. She admitted exchanging text messages with Daniel, but it was only about her father, who was hospitalized that time.
Jasmine said Daniel saw how distraught she was during their taping, so he asked her about her dad. All their messages revolved around how her father is doing.
She already heard the audio controversy, but she never assumed that it was pertaining to her. Jasmine said she would like to let people just believe what they want to because she cannot obviously force them to believe her.
In fact, Jasmine said she never heard the audio properly because it was very "muffled."
Although KathNiel's fans are bashing her, Jasmine maintained she doesn't want to interfere into their relationship, and she is merely being friendly in this industry. Sam earlier said he and Jasmine are doing okay.
