Kathryn Bernardo Forgives Daniel Padilla For Audio Scandal

Kathryn Bernardo was saddened by the audio scandal of her loveteam partner Daniel Padilla, who was heard in the audio recording talking about a certain girl he was texting with.

That girl was pinpointed as Jasmine Curtis-Smith, his co-star in "Bonifacio: Ang Unang Yugto." Daniel admitted that he was the one in the audio record. He was heard saying he felt giddy texting with a certain girl.

He said Kathryn was disappointed upon hearing the audio, so he immediately apologized to her. She already forgave him, so Daniel is very thankful that he was given another chance.

Daniel is said to be courting the teen queen. "Wala, e, dun lang ako nagkamali, lalaki ako."

It can be noticed that Daniel hugged Kathryn tightly during the Bench fashion show "The Naked Truth." He said it was his way of thanking the young actress for forgiving him.

Daniel revealed that his mother, Karla Estrada, was enraged over the leaked audio scandal. She alleged that some people are out to get his son. Even his younger brother, JC, was disappointed because some people are bashing even their mother.

Daniel reminded his family that they have a lot of supporters willing to defend him.

He also called on his fans not to bash other people and instead, focus their frustration on him. He might be talking about Jasmine, who is being subjected to bashing by the KathNiel fans on social networking sites.

Daniel said it saddens him that a lot of people are being dragged into the mess. He, however, said his working relationship with Jasmine has not been affected by the controversy because it was just a simple misunderstanding.

For her part, Jasmine shrugged off her bashers and said she cannot force them to believe her. She also maintained that she and boyfriend Sam Concepcion are okay amid the scandal.
