Alden Richards Denies He Is The Reason Of Aljur Abrenica GMA FeudAlden Richards denied that he is the reason why fellow Kapuso star Aljur Abrenica wanted to end his contract with GMA-7. There were some reports that projects supposedly for Aljur were offered to Alden.
He said he has been with the network for only three years, so he leaves it up to the management to approve and disapprove projects for him. Alden knows how to wait for the right time, and he doesn't try to take away projects from anyone.
Alden said it is a sign of weakness if he chooses only projects that he is comfortable to make. Instead, he wants to be always challenged in his work.
He said that when he and Aljur had the workshop for "Cain at Abel," they were okay and Aljur was very hands-on with the activities. He didn't know what happened afterwards and why Aljur decided to withdraw from the project.
Alden remains clueless why Aljur decided to pull out from "Cain at Abel." He said he respects Aljur's position as his senior in the industry.
"And hindi po ako credible para maging rason, para maging isang factor sa decision-making niya sa career niya, especially."
Alden said that maybe the reason why his name is being linked to Aljur's decision to leave the network was because he was given good projects by GMA lately. He did "Carmela" with Marian Rivera, "One True Love" and he is now hosting "Bet Ng Bayan," a new reality show.
Next, he will be making "Ilustrado," a primetime series about the life of the country's national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.
He hasn't had the chance to talk with Aljur. The last time they saw each other was when they did "Magpakailanman" in March.
Meanwhile, GMA-7 refers to Alden as the Kapuso Primetime Prince. Dingdong Dantes was the Primetime King.
Alden doesn't want to claim any titles, though. He just appreciates what the press, the management, and the audience tell him. He doesn't have the right to claim any title for himself.
