Dingdong Dantes Sees Marian Rivera As Wonderful Future MotherDingdong Dantes is sure that future wife Marian Rivera would be a wonderful mother to their children.
Dingdong said Marian takes care of him really well, so he can only imagine how caring she would be once they have their own family. He knows that Marian is not faking what he sees in her when it comes to being a family-oriented person.
When the situation is tough, that's when the true character of a person will emerge... and Dingdong has seen his fiancee in the toughest situations. "So, ito yung mga bagay na malalaman mo na magiging confident ka sa karakter ng taong pakakasalan mo."
Asked if he will cry when they get married on December 30, Dingdong said he isn't sure. He shared, though, that his brothers-in-law were the ones who cried when his sisters got married.
He also answered rumors that they were living in together already before he proposed. Dingdong said sometimes, Marian stays with him while there are times, he stays with her too. Officially, they are not living in together, although that's not for lack of wanting from his side.
For the Kapuso primetime king, having a family is the most important thing right now. A lot of showbiz couples would probably get married and set aside their family life to focus on their careers, but Dingdong and Marian are not like them. They want to have their own children soon.
The career would still be the same, Dingdong said, adding that he wouldn't really take it for granted. He just needs to learn how to manage his time well.
He is sure that the industry will still be accepting of him and Marian even though they are already married.
Marriage, for him, is not the end of his career in the industry. Whether on-cam or off-cam, this is where Dingdong sees himself growing old.
Meanwhile, he said he is happy that "love is in the air" in showbiz right now because of the number of celebrity engagements--Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero, John Prats and Isabel Oli, and Bianca Gonzalez and JC Intal.
It's good that these people are still valuing matrimony, and that they took time enough to prepare for a deeper relationship.
He doesn't want to comment on reports that their wedding is the much-awaited out of all the celebrity couples getting hitched. Dingdong said it's just a matter of timing, because they'll be getting married while most of the other couples are tying the knot next year.
He is sure each wedding has a unique characteristic and trait that will make it special.
Will Dingdong miss being single? He is not feeling the pressure yet. Maybe he can answer that question when the wedding's really near.
The thing he will probably miss is just worrying and thinking about himself. When he is married, Dingdong will have to take into account his wife, children and his family.
He doesn't have a specific number of children he wants. Dingdong said for him, every child is a blessing.
