German Moreno Denies Rumored Transfer To ABS-CBNGerman Moreno denied that he is transferring to ABS-CBN after he guested on Vice Ganda's evening show, "Gandang Gabi Vice."
At his age, Kuya Germs said he's no longer planning to making any move outside of GMA-7. It just so happened that Vice invited him to be a guest on his show, so he asked permission from Atty. Felipe Gozon out of respect.
As long as GMA-7 needs him, Kuya Germs plans to stay there until the end of his career. When and if Atty. Gozon tells him he's not needed by the Kapuso network already, then that's a sign for him to leave the network.
It is important for Kuya Germs to be loyal to his network, so he can be a role model to others.
That is his role in the industry--to give an opportunity to all artists and networks. He wants to have a balance, and for the other networks to have a chance to work with him if they want to.
He grew up in a showbiz industry where competition is not as steep as today, where everyone can work anywhere. That is what saddening today--that each network has its own set of artists.
That's why today, artists can only make project under the network where they have contracts with. If they don't have TV projects, they are not able to work outside their networks because of the contracts they signed.
In his show, "Master Showman," everyone can promote his/her album or movie. Kuya Germs also invited Vice to his show for the month-long celebration of his birthday. Hopefully, he will be able to drop by.
He also denied that he had a misunderstanding with Nora Aunor because she wasn't able to attend the first week of his birthday celebration. She greeted him through call and text.
That time, Nora has to shoot a movie in Tacloban for Yolanda. Kuya Germs said that whenever she has time, Nora always makes sure to be there on his birthday.
However, he lamented that some of his "anak-anakan" from showbiz do not remember him anymore enough to greet him on his birthday. He does not want to mention names but they know who they are already.
