Jonalyn Viray Wants To Work With Sarah GeronimoJonalyn Viray wants to have the chance to work with Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo. Although many are saying that Jonalyn has a higher vocal range than Sarah, the Kapuso singer said Sarah's experience is unparalleled.
She'll be glad and honored to be able to perform with Sarah, and there's no need for them to have a showdown. She looks up to the Popstar Princess, saying she's one of the fine artists in the music industry.
She saw Sarah during the recently held PMPC Star Awards, but they did not have a duet. They had their own production numbers, although they were together on stage.
Jonalyn said it's a dream come true for her to sing a duet with Sarah. Both singers are products of talent search programs. Jonalyn was the winner of the Pinoy Pop Superstar in 2004 while Sarah is the champion in Star for a Night in 2003.
Sarah is not only a successful singer, but a box-office queen too. Jonalyn doesn't want to say she's envious of the Popstar Princess, but she wished she can also achieve what Sarah has achieved in the industry.
All performers want to be successful in their fields.
Jonalyn is also open to guest in teleseryes although she has no time to commit full-time because of out-of-town and out-of-the-country projects.
She was able to try her hand in acting when she was a part of "Cattleya," the indie film starring Glaiza de Castro. Her role there was of a singer.
But before she tries her hand in a drama series, she needs to enroll in acting workshops.
Meanwhile, Jonalyn is busy preparing for her benefit concert for Yolanda victims titled #Fearless: The Repeat, which will be held on November 14 at the Music Museum.
Last time, her guests were Tom Rodriguez, Thor and Jaya.
In preparing for her concert, Jonalyn revealed she still gets scared that she may not reach the high notes. There are low notes she also cannot reach because her voice has a certain range.
However, she is still willing to do her best to provide a good show to the viewers.
