Alex Gonzaga Is The Female Version Of Luis ManzanoAlex Gonzaga is now being tagged as the female version of Luis Manzano because of her bubbly personality during the first season of "The Voice of the Philippines."
And now that Luis is going to be a part of the second season of the hit singing contest, netizens are abuzz over how similar their personalities are.
Alex said they are both aware of the observation as it was even Luis who texted her to tell her about it. She joked that people should've just called her with bad names.
But seriously, Alex is quite comfortable being compared with Luis because even she thinks they're quite alike. They were friends even before Alex entered the industry.
If she really thinks about it, Luis can be intimidating because his hosting abilities have been recognized by award-giving bodies.
However, Luis never made her feel that he was above her at any level. He is always conscious about making her feel comfortable. Alex does not even feel that Luis is showbiz royalty.
Luis is the son of Star For All Seasons Vilma Santos and former matinee idol Edu Manzano.
Alex also admitted that although Toni Gonzaga, her sister, shares everything with her, she can be quite intimidating because she's such a perfectionist.
Usually, when Toni sees Alex having problems with her scenes, she interferes and tries to help her immediately. Alex said she understands her sister because she just wants to bring the best out of her.
Alex has a natural flair for the comedy. In one instance during the press conference for "The Voice PH," a reporter asked her a question in English. Instead of answering, Alex tried to joke that she did not understand him.
But when asked again in Tagalog, Alex answered in Taglish. She said the people behind "The Voice Kids" are also the same people behind "The Voice of the Philippines."
Whatever success "The Voice Kids" had, she is sure can be accomplished, too, by "The Voice of the Philippines" Season 2. Even more now because they have Luis with them.
During "The Voice Kids," Toni and Robi Domingo are both with their hosting duties on "PBB All In."
