Raymart Santiago Laments Not Being Able To See His ChildrenRaymart Santiago admitted that he does not see his children--Sabina and Santino--as much as his visitation rights allowed because his estranged wife Claudine Barretto does not allow him to.
Last week, Raymart posted a "throwback" photo of him with Sabina and Santino. He said he missed kissing his children, hugging them, and cooking for them.
Raymart alleged that Claudine's camp make it seem like he's seeing his children all the time, but this is not what's happening.
He insists his right to see his children, but he also respects the decision of the court based on the charges both camps filed against each other.
When his mother died recently, he wanted his children there with him during the wake, which lasted for three days. However, Claudine only allowed their children to be there for a day.
Claudine did not attend the wake because she feels she's not a family to the Santiagos anymore. Raymart lamented that Claudine just didn't like the appearance of some guests in the wake, and she already decided not to let their children come again for the second day.
Apparently, Claudine's estranged siblings Marjorie and Gretchen were her "unwanted guests" in the wake.
In the end, Raymart just wanted his children to know that he loves them and that nothing will change the fact he's their father.
Meanwhile, since he's making the series "Second Chances," Raymart was asked what aspects of his life would he want a second chance? The actor said he made a lot of mistakes, and although it is impossible for him and Claudine to be together again, they may become friends in the future.
He's willing to do this for his children. But as for being a couple again? "Hindi na mangyayari yun, medyo suntok sa buwan!"
He shared that he is single right now, and he's not dating anyone. This is despite him being linked to Kapuso actress Bettina Carlos.
In "Second Chances," Raymart plays the role of Bernard, who lost his wife and neglected his child. He then met the character of Jennylyn Mercado, a mother who also lost her child.
