Sarah Geronimo Wants True Love, Even If It Takes Years Of WaitingSarah Geronimo has revealed that she wants “true love” and that she is willing to wait for several years if that is what it takes.
“Sabi ko nga the next time na I fall in love, sana totoo na. Sana totoo na talaga. Iyon ‘yung kahit ilang taon ako maghintay, okay lang basta totoong pagmamahal,” Geronimo told ABS-CBN News on Tuesday.
Furthermore, the Kapamilya singer actress also said that she would not mind if the relationship with that person fails just as long as she feels the meaning of “true love”.
“Kahit na hindi mag-work out, kahit mag-fail, at least naramadaman ko 'yung totoong pagmamahal, hindi lang 'yung para lang sa mga taong nakakakita,” she said.
Nonetheless, Geronimo does not have a specific set of criteria she is looking for in a man. She said that one does not plan love.
“May mga nagsasabi na kailangan may ideal man ka, may hahanapin ka. Okay din iyon pero ang pag-ibig kasi hindi mo maipaplano iyan. Minsan ‘Ayaw ko sa ganito, sa ganyan.’ Hindi mo talaga masasabi kung kanino ka mai-in love,” she said.
For her next relationship, the acclaimed actress said that she now knows that everything needs to be balanced.
She said that the opinion of parents is very important in a relationship. Geronimo also added that she will not make the same mistake she did in her past relationships and that she will try to keep things balanced her next relationship.
“Mayroon din akong sariling desisyon pero kailangan i-honor ko din yung gusto ng mga magulang ko,” she said.
Nonetheless, she reveals that there are times she feels lonely because she is single and jealous of couples she sees.
However, that does not mean she is happy, she said.
“Kailangan mong intindihin na mayroong tamang panahon para sa pag-ibig,” the singer said.
Geronimo stars with John Lloyd Cruz in the recent hit movie “It Takes A Man And A Woman” which has already taken the distinction of being the second-highest grossing Filipino movie of all time from “The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin” after it grossed P345 million in three weeks.
