Jane Oineza Shrugs Off Her BashersKapamilya actress Jane Oineza is learning how to shrug off her bashers, especially after she won "Pinoy Big Brother All In" last summer.
Jane said there was definitely an increase in the number of her bashers since she got out of the house. She doesn't mind these, however, because she doesn't expect them to say anything good about her anyway.
She simply respects them because that is their opinion of her. Jane knows who she is, so she doesn't need to be affected by them.
She cannot please everyone, so she's perfectly fine with having her own bashers. Now that she's more popular than when she entered PBB, she's bound to have more critics, she added.
Jane said she feels really blessed because all her dreams are coming true right now. She never thought that it would be PBB that will open doors for her as an actress.
When she went inside the house, she didn't think it would have so much of an effect on her career. She just wanted to test herself because it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Jane learned a lot about herself inside the house. It helped her be a better person, and she became more mature. She was able to prove to herself that as long as she's patient, focused and determined, she will go a long way.
Jeron Teng, Jane's rumored boyfriend, would always remind the actress not to mind her bashers. It's the same thing she tells him about his critics.
There are times, of course, that even though you know you did nothing wrong, you would still get affected by the criticisms, Jane said.
Despite all these, Jane admitted she still reads comments about her. Jeron would always tell her not to anymore, but the actress seemed unaffected by these. There are still some positive comments about her. She doesn't want to ignore the positive just because she gets annoyed by the negative.
Although they are admittedly close, Jane said she and Jeron are just friends and they both want to focus on their careers now.
Jeron is a basketball player for the De La Salle University Green Archers.
