Andre Paras Admits Brother Kobe Is Better In Basketball Than HimAndre Paras said his brother, Kobe Paras, is better in playing basketball than him. He doesn't get offended by comments such as that because he's proud of his brother.
Andre and Kobe are the sons of basketball player and comedian Benjie Paras to former actress Jackie Forster.
As of now, Kobe is studying in the US, where his talents in basketball have been noticed by the University of California-Los Angeles Bruins. He recently showed off in Staples Center, the home of the LA Lakers and the LA Clippers.
Andre is Kobe's number one fan. He is inspired by his younger brother, and he hopes to be like him in the future.
Andre and Kobe came to the public eye because of their skills in basketball. Andre played for the UP Maroons, just like his father. However, as Kobe left for the US to try his luck in NBA, Andre was left to focus on his showbiz career.
He's used to people comparing him to Kobe already. He doesn't find it offensive because he's proud of his brother, anyway.
Kobe is now committed to play for the Bruins. As of now, he still has one year in high school to develop his skills in basketball. He will soon be playing for US NCAA.
Despite being busy in his showbiz career, Andre still dreams of being a basketball player. He continues to play for UAAP. He juggles his class, training and taping schedules.
He has the best of both worlds now, Andre said, adding that he's able to balance showbiz and basketball.
Right now, he's focused on his work. He's enjoying his time acting and playing basketball, as well as supporting his brother.
