Zanjoe Marudo Shrugs Off Persistent Breakup RumorZanjoe Marudo said that nothing is new in his relationship with Bea Alonzo. He earlier denied rumors that they have broken up already. He doesn't even understand why there were persistent rumors like that.
Gloria Diaz, Zanjoe's co-star in "Dream Dad," shared that when she recently asked Bea if she's going to get married, the actress said yes.
Zanjoe denied they have plans of settling down already, although he is happy if Bea feels that way.
They both admitted that their problem remains to be their lack of time for each other. When Bea ended her teleserye "Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon," Zanjoe started working on "Dream Dad."
They understand each other's duties, but it's still hard at times because they miss each other. They talk about their issues, Zanjoe said, adding that they can't stop working just to be together.
Meanwhile, everyone noticed that Zanjoe has been making a lot of daddy series lately. He did "Annaliza" with Andrea Brillantes last year. Now, he's doing "Dream Dad" with Jana Agoncillo.
He doesn't choose to do these roles, but they are offered to him. Of course, he finds the roles challenging and the stories quite good. In fact, Zanjoe finds it easier to act as a good dad because he has so much respect and love for his own father.
Growing up, he experienced how it was to have a father who spends time with him and nurtures them. It's important for any person to feel his father's presence in his life. He will bring it until his adulthood.
Is he anxious about the ratings for "Dream Dad," which will be replacing the Pinoy remake of the Koreanovela "Pure Love"? Of course, he feels nervous if the public will also like his series.
It is important for any artist to be excited and nervous for his/her projects. "Pag kampante kasi masyado, hindi naman maganda."
