Julie Ann San Jose Denies Rumored Romance With AbraJulie Anne San Jose denied rumors that currently link her to rapper Abra. She just laughed off these said rumors because they had their own fans on social media after they performed on "Sunday All Stars" together.
The fans said the two fit each other because they are both talented and they also know how to write their own music.
Julie said they are just friends and they have a good collaboration when they work together. Their friendship is merely based on their work. They don't even go out outside work.
Julia and Abra recorded the song "Dedma," and performed it recently on "Sunday All Stars." Aside from that, the two are part of the Metro Manila Film Fest official entry "Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles."
In "Kubot," they will star alongside Dingdong Dantes. Julie said this is the first time she'll be part of an MMFF official entry. She's not into movies, really. The last one she did was "One Last Summer" in 2012.
She, however, has no problem if the fans will refer to them as "JuliAbra." It is also nice because they work together well in their music. The fans will be a great help to the music they will be working on in the future.
Abra is also one of Julie's special guests for her first major concert "Hologram" at the Mall of Asia Arena on December 13. Aside from him, other guests would be Sam Concepcion, Christian Bautista and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.
Julie said she's very nervous with this project because it's her first big-venue concert. She's praying that it will turn out well. She's doing it for the fans because they were the ones who pushed her to do this.
"They deserve this kind of show from me dahil sa sobrang pagsuporta nila sa career ko mula sa simula pa lang." The concert is Julie's Christmas treat for her fans.
It will be a different Julie Anne that the fans will see on "Hologram." Her choice of songs is more mature and she will also have specially-arranged duets with her guests.
There is no teleserye planned for her because she's focused on her singing career. Besides, her album "Deeper" is also doing well in sales. She is also busy with schoolwork.
When she did "Kahit Nasaan Ka Man" last year, she had to sacrifice a lot because of the schedule. That's why she decided not to do teleseryes first. She's always singing the theme songs, anyway. Julie sang the theme songs of "Kambal Sirena, Strawberry Lane and Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real."
