Cinema One Originals 2014 Names Angelica Panganiban As Best ActressAngelical Panganiban has just won as Best Actress in the Cinema One Originals film festival 2014 for her film "That Thing Called Tadhana." She stars in this with JM de Guzman.
She portrayed a heartbroken woman. She was unable to attend the awards night, though, because she's in the US vacationing with boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz.
For the Best Actor category, it was a tie between Sandino Martin for "Esprit de Corps" and Matt Daclan for "Soap Opera." For Best Supporting Actress, Maria Isabel Lopez won for "Lorna" while Andy Bais was the Best Supporting Actor for "Violator."
Kanakan Balintagos won the Best Director category for "Esprit de Corps," which talks about love and corruption in the military.
Two special awards were given to "Ang Nanay Kong Noisy" and "That Thing Called Tadhana." They were given the Biogesic Ingat na damang dama Sineserge short film award and Champion Bughaw Award for full-length film, respectively. Both of the films were directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
The jury members this film are Angeli Bayani, Erik Matti, Paolo Bertolin, Richard Bolisay, Benjamin Illos and Tito Genova Valiente.
