Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla In A RelationshipSources said that teen royalties Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo are officially an item. Apparently, the two entered into a relationship just this year.
The two started being paired up in 2012 when they starred in the hit teleserye "Princess and I." Asked about their status, Daniel said they are just friends and they would have to wait until they're both in legal age before they consider being together.
Kathryn turned 18 this year. Daniel was the escort during her debut. Again, Daniel denied their relationship, saying he wants to see the actress enjoy her life and do the things she wants because having a boyfriend can sometimes stop you from pursuing your interests.
Although they continue to deny their relationship, there have been a lot of incidences where both of them were seen being sweet to each other. One such instance is during Daniel's "Dos" concert last April 30.
During the said concert, the fans asked the two of them to kiss. Daniel asked Kathryn if she can kiss him. Instead, he kissed her cheek.
By May this year, Daniel admitted he's courting the actress, who by then he has starred with in "She's Dating The Gangster" and " Got To Believe."
On November 15, a photo surfaced of the two seemingly kissing each other in an airport in Canada. They were there for a show. Kathryn explained that Daniel was merely pinching her face, but the angle of the camera made it seem like he was kissing her.
Even when Daniel was rocked by his controversial audio recording, where he was heard getting giddy because of a text message from many believe was Jasmine Curtis, the two remained strong.
Kathryn said they merely laugh about issues like that. She added that Daniel doesn't care about rumors.
On December 7, when Kathryn launched her album on "ASAP," host Robi Domingo asked them about the possibility of being together in the future. When the two did not respond, Robi changed his question and asked if they can do a duet in the future.
Daniel was all smiles while Kathryn cryptically said "proud moment!"
The two will star in the remake of the hit teleserye "Pangako Sa 'Yo" early next year.
