Daniel Matsunaga Denies Romance With Non-Showbiz GirlDaniel Matsunaga denied that he was involved in a one-night stand with a non-showbiz girl. The news came out after the girl posted on Instagram a picture of her and Daniel. Even her boyfriend confirmed the news.
But Daniel said this photo was just a random one taken with fans. She's just a part of the crowd in maybe one of Daniel's gigs. He has opened himself to the idea that these kinds of rumors will surface because he's in showbiz.
He makes sure that these rumors will not affect the way he interacts with fans. He will never reject the idea of taking photos with them because he owes them wherever he is now.
"If people ask me to take picture with them, I will never say no." His fans have been very supportive of him, and taking pictures with them is the only way he can give back.
He's very happy to see and interact with fans, Daniel said.
Meanwhile, Daniel said he wants to be a naturalized Filipino citizen. He is planning to have a dual citizenship. That will take a long process, though.
He now holds a permanent residency. That in itself is a huge blessing already. He's been in the Philippines five years. His plan is to stay here and bring his whole family here.
His sister, Vanessa, is married to a Filipino. His mother is already here while his father will arrive this Christmas.
Daniel wants to be married to a Filipina. That is the purpose. But of course, all of that will happen in God's time, he said. "If I have an opportunity to be naturalized, it's gonna be amazing for me, and I really want that to happen."
Daniel thanked Kris Aquino for helping him achieve a permanent residency status in the Philippines. She introduced him to the commissioner of the Bureau of Immigration. She also made sure the process is faster than usual.
Daniel said Kris' help should not be given any meaning because it's just a friendly gesture. She's been nice to him and his whole family.
