Jasmine Curtis-Smith Says Sister Anne's Defense Of Her Is NaturalIt is only natural for her sister, Anne Curtis, to defend her from bashers, Jasmine Curtis-Smith said. Jasmine is being hated on by fans of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo ever since she was dragged in Daniel's audio controversy.
In the said audio, Daniel was heard getting excited after receiving a text from Jasmine. This led some to believe that the two are being chummy with each other when Daniel was supposed to be with Kathryn while Jasmine is with Sam Concepcion.
It's in Anne's nature to defend her, Jasmine said, although she does not usually answer her fans. Anne, however, draws the lines when her family is being attacked.
Anne lately defended Jasmine on Instagram after KathNiel fans bashed her and called her a flirt.
Jasmine thanked her sister for showing her support to her. She can feel how much Anne cares for her. She hopes she can already move on from the issue because she wants to differentiate her professional from personal life.
She and Anne try to live as normal life as possible.
Jasmine said she has already accepted that such bashing is part of the industry she's in. It just shows how strong the fandoms in the industry are.
"And that’s something that you really just can’t control so go with the flow and focus ka na lang."
Jasmine chooses to live positively and not to try to control anything. She wants to focus on her work. She doesn't want to lose her focus just because there are people who don't like her.
She's okay with the issue because she addressed it to everyone who's important to her, especially to Sam. For now, she doesn't want to comment anymore because the issue just might get bigger.
It's better to leave everything in the past and just move on. She's not traumatized by social media because she uses it to connect to her fans. She just learned how to disconnect from people who keep on hating her.
Meanwhile, Jasmine said she will celebrate Christmas Day in Australia. Anne and her other cousins will also be there. She has to go home for New Year, though, because she will lead TV5's countdown at the Quezon Memorial Circle.
