Rafael Rosell Not Ready To Settle Down This YearRafael Rosell said he's not ready to settle down this year with model-girlfriend Olivia Medina. This despite the fact that a lot of celebrity couples have been tying the knot recently.
Rafael said he's still building his own house. It isn't done yet because he's asking the contractors to attach bars, so that he can climb up the rooftop without the traditional stairs.
He's also focusing on the location of his house because he wants to maximize the natural light, so he can plant his own fruits and vegetables. This house is not for his future family, but for his current one. He wants it to be the place where they will gather when they are in the Philippines.
Rafael plans to convert his house into an urban garden, where there is a wall garden, a window garden, a rooftop garden and the main garden. He's asking the contractors to research about all of these, and that's the reason why his house is taking too long to be completed.
He wants his house to be efficient, just like his condo unit. Rafael said much can be done in such a small space.
Meanwhile, Rafael is working with Jennylyn Mercado for GMA-7's "Second Chances." He said it's an honor to work with Jen, who was heralded as Metro Manila Film Festival's Best Actress for "English Only, Please."
He's very happy with the Kapuso network because of all the opportunities and trust being given to him.
Rafael said he does not feel awkward or intimated working with Jennylyn because he's trying to eliminate competition in his life. One of the sources of stress of an actor is competition, so he's trying to remove that from his life since he wants to simplify his lifestyle.
So for him, it doesn't matter if his show is on primetime or afternoon timeslot. As long as he can do what he wants to do, which is acting and portraying characters, then he believes he will be fine.
In terms of career, though, primetime will still get you to places. That is why if he needs to really choose between the two timeslots, he would prefer to be seen on primetime TV.
Still, Rafael said he enjoys the atmosphere in GMA-7, whether primetime or noontime.
