Jasmine Curtis-Smith Moves On From Audio Record ControversyJasmine Curtis-Smith no longer wants to talk about the audio record controversy that involved her and teen king Daniel Padilla. Jasmine said Daniel already apologized for having her name dragged into the issue, so there's no need to rehash it.
Everybody knows how intense that episode was in her life, so she doesn't want to go back to that. Besides, it has been so long already. They already finished "Bonifacio." They attended the MMFF. We all celebrated New Year.
"Nag-sorry lang po siya, katulad nung ginawa ng lahat ng involved, gusto lang namang maiklaro kung ano yung nangyari, kung bakit ganyan, yun lang po."
The controversy referred to a taped audio of Daniel and one of his friends talking about a girl who made him feel excited with just one text message. They also talked about the fashion sense of a certain "Sam," which led many to believe they were talking about Sam Concepcion, Jasmine's boyfriend, and the girl referred to in the audio was actually Jasmine herself.
Fans of Daniel and her longtime on-screen partner, Kathryn Bernardo, reacted negatively to the news, with some bashing Jasmine on social networking sites, tagging her as a boyfriend stealer.
However, the young actress shrugged this all off. The year 2015 has been good to her so far. She has two full shows "Move It" and "Wattpad Presents: House Full of Hunks." She was also a part of Star Cinema's "Halik sa Hangin" with Gerald Anderson, Julia Montes and JC de Vera.
Jasmine is very thankful to TV5, where she is a contract artist, for allowing her to guest on ABS-CBN shows. Her guestings are only for promotions, though.
She's thankful to both networks for giving her the freedom to do so.
Meanwhile, she and Sam are going stronger by the day. There's nothing new with their relationship since they are both busy. Sam also has shows, including a major concert in a major venue.
Aside from the two shows mentioned earlier, Jasmine is also doing the horror family movie under Regal Films with Paulo Avelino, Raikko Mateo and Isabelle Daza.
Unfortunately, the two of them will be working on February 14, Valentine' Day. They may just celebrate it either before or after that day.
