Arron Villaflor Enjoys Contrabida RolesArron Villaflor now enjoys doing contrabida roles. He has a new looks since he transferred to Cornerstone Talent Management Center.
Arron said his new look with mustache and beard, suits his contrabida roles. Since he received good feedback from his contrabida role, he decided he has found his niche in acting.
He doesn't long for projects that make him the "bida" because he found out that he's more effective as a contrabida. He doesn't want to be a hypocrite and say that he didn't dream to be a "bida." Of course, he did, but he's now okay with being the antagonist of the story.
If there's one role Arron will say "no" to, these are gay roles. He already tried doing it, so it's better to give more chance to others.
It's not that he's against gay roles. It's just that he has already tried it, and it's better for him to pass on those roles to others.
The reason why he transferred to Cornerstone is because he wants to try out a new production. Cornerstone is the talent management of Jericho Rosales, Sam Milby, Erik Santos, Kyla, Yeng Constantino, Angeline Quinto, Maricar Reyes, Richard Poon, KZ Tandingan, Iñigo Pascual and Rachelle Ann Go.
Arron is still co-managed by Star Magic, though, but he's thankful they allowed him to be a part of Cornerstone. He has stayed with Star Magic for 10 years, so he wants to try what he can do under another management.
Erickon Raymundo, the president of Cornerstone, has many plans for Arron. He wants him to do a teleserye, but Arron is more excited to try his hand at singing.
He has always wanted to try it, but he has no actual natural talent for it. Still, he wants to show the people that he has a skill in singing. That's one of the reasons why he decided to transfer to Cornerstone.
Most of the artists of Cornerstone such as Yeng, Richard and Sam are singers. Arron is willing to undergo training and voice lessons. He's willing to learn the right techniques.
He has high respect for people who know how to sing, so he wants to do it the proper way--by learning. It's like acting also--one needs to have passion for what he's doing.
When it comes to lovelife, Arron said that's one aspect where he's not lucky. He has just broken up with his girlfriend, so he's not really focused on having another one right now.
He wants to concentrate first on his career and spend more time with his family. His lovelife can wait. "Kaya ngayon, I’m happy to be single at mas excited sa mga trabahong darating sa akin."
