Kyla Explains Decision To Leave GMA-7Kyla spent 15 years as a singer and performer on GMA-7, her home network. Because she felt she already maximized her potentials there, the singer decided to try out her luck on ABS-CBN.
Although she did not directly answer if she's signing a contract with the Kapamilya network, Kyla did say during an interview on "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" that she's really happy with her career path now. She is open for anything, and is actually excited to work with the artists she looks up to on ABS-CBN.
TV host Boy Abunda said the Kapamilya network is a "new world" and a "new adventure." Kyla agreed, and hinted that she might be guesting on Sunday noontime show "ASAP."
Kyla said there is no bad blood between her and her GMA-7 bosses. It was a nice exit from the network, she said. Kyla was a mainstay of "ASAP's" rival, "Sunday All Stars," for many years.
She's very happy with the way her colleagues and big bosses on "ASAP" accepted her decision. They were all happy and very supportive.
