Matteo Guidicelli Is Wishing For Acceptance In His LovelifeMatteo Guidicelli is celebrating his 25th birthday on March 26. Asked what his birthday wish is, the actor-triathlete simply said for everybody to be happy and accepting to one another.
He added that he cannot say what his real wish is and that he cannot go into detail, but wished simply for happiness and acceptance.
Matteo refused to reply when asked if the acceptance he's wishing for has something to do with his relationship with Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo. Despite breakup rumors, the two were seen together during Ed Sheeran's concert on March 12 at the MOA Arena. At one point, the two were even photographed hugging each other.
He saw the picture and remarked that he was holding on tight to Sarah because he might lose her. They enjoyed the concert, and was even standing on just one chair because it was jam-packed.
Matteo knew only one of Ed's songs, "Thinking Out Loud," but when he was there, he felt familiar with all the songs in his repertoire. Sarah was the one who really liked to see Ed live.
Everything's going well in his life, especially in his relationship with Sarah. The rumors that they were on the rocks following Sarah's emotions during one of the episode of "The Voice" was just because of stress from the show, Matteo explained.
He tries to brighten Sarah's days by doing the sweet little things when they are together. They rarely see each other because Sarah's busy with work. They go out on dinner dates and watch a lot of movies. They try to make quality memories together.
They watch almost all genres. Sarah is known to be a romantic-comedy royalty, so she's fond of romance and love stories.
Meanwhile, Matteo will be the newest host of "Wheels TV" alongside Philippine Star's Angel Rivero. Matteo will be commenting on the TV version of the newspaper's Wheels section.
He'll be criticizing the cars, and giving feedbacks on what the pros and cons are. He'll be joined by Star's Manny de los Reyes, Kap Maceda Aguila, Atty. Karen Jimeno and Ulysses Ang.
The show will be relatable to the ordinary people, the ordinary drivers. He won't be there to comment as a previous race-car driver, but as a regular driver. He hopes their comments there will help people decide what cars are best for them.
Matteo said he has always dreamed of being in a car show. Cars are his first love. He's been race-car driving since he was 11 years old, so he's really excited that "Wheels" got him into this.
Aside from "Wheels TV," Matteo is also a part of ABS-CBN's primetime series "Inday Bote" with Alex Gonzaga. The series started on March 16 (Monday) before "TV Patrol."
The actor-triathlete shared that they got positive ratings and feedback.
With all the blessings he's been receiving, Matteo said he cannot ask for anything more. He's blessed not only in his work, but also in life.
Matteo plans to go home to Cebu this Holy Week despite the hectic work schedule.
