JM De Guzman Remains Mum About Jessy MendiolaAlthough Kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola already admitted to being courted again by JM de Guzman, the actor remained mum about reports that he's pursuing his former girlfriend.
When asked about Jessy's admission, JM was silent for a few minutes, but smiled meaningfully. Reports said JM's body language showed he still gets giddy when Jessy's name is mentioned.
Still, he did not answer when asked persistently about the rumors.
It can be remembered that JM and Jessy were together before, but Jessy denied it. She only admitted to the relationship after she and JM already broke up.
Shortly after, JM committed himself to rehab because of drug use. Since completing the program, he has made a successful showbiz comeback through the Cinema One Originals "That Thing Called Tadhana" with Angelica Panganiban.
He denied that Jessy was the reason why he got hooked to drugs, although sources confirmed he got depressed after his breakup with the actress.
Meanwhile, JM is busy working as one of the cast of "Imbisibol," an entry to the Sinag Maynila Film Festival in select SM Cinemas in Metro Manila.
JM attended the gala screening on March 19. Also at the screening was the head of Japan's Fukuoka Film Commission because the film was shot in Japan.
JM said it was difficult to shoot the scenes in Japan because of the weather condition. This can be clearly seen in the movie. He liked his role, however--of an illegal Filipino worker who found himself facing a criminal charge.
When it comes to work, JM tries to always give his all. He really gives importance to his work.
His film with Angelica already earned P130 million since it was released to mainstream public. It was written and directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
JM is very thankful to those who supported his movie with Angelica. He felt lucky to be a part of something as successful as "Tadhana."
He's supposed to do another teleserye for ABS-CBN, but he is still waiting for details on that. He's just hopeful that all of these plans will push through.
