Enrique Gil Is Very Happy With How His Career Is Moving

Enrique Gil said that he is very much contented with how his career is moving today.

In just under two years of being active in the industry, Gil is now one of the most highly demanded young actors in the industry today. Gil also has a number of product endorsements. He is now the new ambassador of Close-Up.

PEP.PH had an opportunity to talk with Gil during the launching of Close-Up’s Summer Solstice Music Festival on March 5 at the White Space in Pasong Tamo, Makati City.

Gil is very thankful because ABS-CBN, his home network, has trusted him with good projects.

“Masaya po kasi siguro, wala lang... trabaho lang talaga, 'tsaka siguro kung ano ka... ipakita mo, huwag kang matakot... kasi ako, kung sino ako, ipapakita ko. Para may maipakita kang kakaiba, parang ganun, siguro ganun,” he told PEP.PH and TV5’s Ang Latest.

Gil admitted that Princess And I has been a big part of his career. He added that he even thanked Malou Santos by sending a thank you picture card. He shared that Santos even posted the picture on Instagram.

The young actor also confirmed that he will also be making another horror indie film. Taping will probably begin in April or May. Aside from that, he will also have a new teleserye. However, Gil couldn’t yet reveal the details because nothing is finalized yet.

As for his lovelife, Gil said that he spent Valentine’s Day in Naga with his fans because he had a show there. But he said that it is okay because he is just thinking that maybe next year, he will finally have a date on Valentine’s.

Gil will turn 21 on March 30. He said that his birthday wish is for his fans to enjoy his work. Gil said that whenever he makes the audience happy, the management will be happy as well.
