Talent Manager Perry Lansigan Adds Fire To Rumors Of Dingdong Dantes' Transfer To Another NetworkDingdong Dantes' talent manager Perry Lansigan confirmed that they are talking with other networks regarding his ward's possible transfer after his contract with GMA-7 expires in August.
“Hindi ko pa masabing hindi, hindi ko pa masabing oo. Basta we are having talks with different parties, different networks.”
Currently, they are negotiating with GMA, TV5 and even ABS-CBN.
He said there is a possibility that Dantes will stay as a Kapuso, but it is also probable he will be a Kapatid or even a Kapamilya.
Lansigan doesn't want to comment on what he prefers for his ward. He said there are no concrete agreements yet with any of the networks they are currently negotiating with.
"Wala pa akong firm decision on that because may mga pag-uusap pa at hinihintay ko pang maayos lahat.”
He was recently seen at the ABS-CBN compound. He said GMA knows about his meeting, and that he doesn't want to keep anything from the Kapuso network, where Dantes has established himself.
Dantes has been with GMA-7 for almost 15 years, which made some fans wary of the actor's decision to leave the network.
Lansigan said they are both in communication about where they want to go with Dantes' career.
"Basta ang gusto lang namin, like as a manager, siyempre ang gusto ko, yung talent ko kung saan magiging okay."
"Okay, meaning kung saan mas magiging masaya, fulfilled ang mga pangarap ni Dingdong."
The three things they are looking for in an offer are these: security, stability and fulfillment. Whichever network can provide Dantes these three things, Lansigan said that is where they will be going.
He denied though that Dantes is not happy anymore with the Kapuso network. Lansigan said Dantes is well taken care of by GMA-7.
When it comes to Dantes' personal life, Lansigan said he stays as far as possible. As long as his love life doesn't affect his professional commitments, Lansigan said he has no problems with it.
There are rumors that Dantes and his girlfriend, Marian Rivera, will tie the knot this year.
"At ako naman, kung saan siya maligaya, susuportahan ko siya.”
He refused to comment about Rivera's decision to leave her manager Popoy Caritativo.
She is now being managed by Tony Tuviera's Triple A.
“It’s inappropriate for me as a manager and as a manager of Dingdong—it’s inappropriate.”
