Jennylyn Mercado Poses For FHM Again After Losing Three Shows
She said though she is still not ready to pose more daringly for the magazine. For this issue, Mercado will be wearing a two piece suit.
The pictorial was inspired by Brigitte Bardot. She doesn't want to go more daring because her son, Alex Jazz, might get angry.
Mercado said boyfriend Luis Manzano is actually supportive of her decision to pose for the magazine again.
“Hindi, never, never. Noong nalaman niya ito, sabi niya, ‘Go, habang kaya pa.’”
Mercado has just lost three shows in GMA-7. "H.O.T. TV" has already ended. "Party Pilipinas," which she co-hosts, will also end this Sunday.
The fantaserye "Indio" with Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. is also set to end soon.
Although the actress-singer is very sad about the ending of her three shows, she said she believes something better is in store for her.
“Pero positive ako na may kapalit. Tuwing may mawawala, palaging may kapalit. So, positive, positive pa rin.”
Soon, Mercado will host a morning reality show called "Anak Ko 'Yan!" Coincidentally, this might overlap with the timeslot of Manzano's "Minute To Win It" on ABS-CBN.
People 7 to 17 years old are auditioning for "Anak Ko 'Yan!".
Mercado said there is no reason for her and Manzano to have a problem with the timeslot of their shows.
“Okay lang naman at saka hindi rin naman ako sigurado kung katapat, basta ang alam ko, umaga."
Mercado shared how sad she is that "Indio" will be ending soon. She said she will miss the cast of the fantaserye.
"Nakakalungkot kasi ang tagal naming magkakasama. Halos ilang buwan na rin yun kaya talagang nakakalungkot din."
Mercado said viewers have to watch out if she and Indio (Revilla) will end up together in the end since they have suffered under many spells.
She was also asked about her son's relationship with his father, Patrick Garcia.
Mercado didn't want to comment about Garcia's new baby. His non-showbiz girlfriend just gave birth to a baby girl.
“Family matters, ayoko na lang pag-usapan pag ganoon."
Alex Jazz, their son, is currently preparing to enter pre-school. For now, he is taking summer classes in the morning and tutorials in the afternoon.
Mercado said she wants her son to become more acquainted with people, so it will be easy for him to adjust in a school setting.
