Daniel Padilla Signs Contract With Star Cinema As It Announces Follow-Up Movie For KathNiel FansDaniel Padilla signed a contract with ABS-CBN's movie production arm Star Cinema on Wednesday, May 15. This happened as the network announced his second movie with loveteam partner Kathryn Bernardo.
As the newest teen loveteam royalty, KathNiel broke records when it launched "Must Be Love," their first film collaboration. This will soon be followed by a still untitled movie.
"Masaya ako. Sino ba namang hindi magiging masaya? Nakakatuwa dahil pumirma na ulit ako. Nung last time, iba pa ang itsura ko noon eh.
He said it wouldn't matter what kind of project ABS-CBN has in store for him and his on-screen partner because he trusts them to handle his career.
Also, he attributed his success to Bernardo, whom he has been courting the past year.
Padilla said though that for now, he and Bernardo will stick with movies that address the problems encountered by young teens like them.
It's too early for them to tackle mature roles, he added.
The two of them will also be making a new teleserye entitled "Got To Believe" with Benjie Paras, Carmina Villaroel, Manilyn Reynes and several members of Star Magic Circle 2013.
The teleserye will start airing in July 2013.
