Judy Ann Santos Defends Ryan Agoncillo From "Womanizer" TagTeleserye Queen Judy Ann Santos came to her husband's defense against allegations that he was seeing other women behind her back.
Santos said it will be very difficult for her to trust another man again if he has broken that trust already. However, when it comes to her husband, ABS-CBN's prime actress said Agoncillo has no history of cheating on his girlfriends even in the past.
“Saka very honest kasi si Ry, so bago pa man mahuli na may babae na siya, baka umamin na siya or ako mismo. Hindi siya yung tipo na magtatago.”
She also put an end to rumors that she and Agoncillo have already filed for an annulment. Santos said she will do all she can to keep her marriage intact. Although she doesn't want to speculate on what kind of issues their marriage will face in the future, Santos said she is ready to fight for her husband and their relationship.
“We take it one day at a time and, at the same time, kung may issue mang uusbong, doon pa lang namin siya reresolbahan. But other than that, wala akong nakikitang dahilan na puwede maging dahilan para maghiwalay."
However, Santos clarified she doesn't want to publicize her marriage, meaning she won't be open about any problems they may be facing. It is important for her to keep their issues private because once they are out there, a lot will be said and their decisions will be influenced by the people around them.
Meanwhile, Santos admitted she is getting nervous about the audience's reception to her comeback teleserye, "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala."
The story will revolve around a woman who married who she thought was a real-life prince charming. Everything turned upside down though when she discovered she her husband was cheating on her with another woman.
Also, she will realize that Sam Milby's character there only married her to acquire rights to her father's land, one Milby needs for his new business venture.
The story, Santos said, will be about women empowerment and how to stand up for women's rights. The series will also tackle domestic abuse.
This will be Santos' comeback teleserye after she took a break from acting because of her new family with Agoncillo. She dabbled first with hosting before finally agreeing to do this teleserye with Milby and KC Concepcion, among others.
