Teleserye Queen Judy Ann Santos comes back as a woman who will fight for her rights in ABS-CBN's "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala," which will air on June 17 after the finale of "Ina, Kapatid, Anak,” which will end two weeks from now.

Santos admitted feeling nervous about the possible reception her new soap will receive from the viewers. It has been more than a couple of years since the Kapamilya actress made a teleserye with the network.

She took on hosting roles during her hiatus from acting. Santos said she wanted to focus on building her family with husband Ryan Agoncillo and their two children.

“I’m feeling nervous and excited at the same time. I’m really flattered to be given this kind of project, and I’m very thankful to ABS-CBN because they have been supporting me and giving me wonderful projects for the longest time."

As her comeback teleserye, the actress-TV host said she didn't think twice about the role offered to her. It is a "beautiful and extraordinary" story, she said.

"Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala" is about women empowerment. Santos will play the role of Anessa Panaligan, who will marry Eros Diomedes (Sam Milby), a wealthy businessman who Anessa will realize is only out for the land she inherited from her father.

Eros will turn Anessa's life into a nightmare. Right after they were married, Anessa will find out about her new husband's affair with another woman, which will be played by KC Concepcion.

Aside from the three main stars, "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala" will also feature John Estrada, Tirso Cruz III, Coney Reyes, Susan Africa, Mylene Dizon, Matet de Leon, Empress, Bryan Termulo and Joseph Marco.

The teleserye is directed by Jerry Sineneng and Tots Sanchez-Mariscal.
