Bianca King Reveals Why She And Ex-Boyfriend Dennis Trillo Broke Up
Back in late 2012, King went through several personal problems because her father has to go through a quadruple bypass surgery while her 80-year-old grandmother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. That time, the actress needed the company of "someone who should have been there." But apparently, although she didn't directly identify Trillo, that "someone" mysteriously disappeared.
“Parang yung taong dapat kinakapitan ko dito nung mga panahon na yun na may nangyayari sa family ko, nawala bigla. Ayoko na po bigyan ng masyadong detalye… okay na po [ako].”
That time, King said she cried every day because of what was happening to her father, grandmother and the breakup, of course. She turned to her family for support, and opened up her heart to her father.
When she visited her father in Canada in January this year, King said she poured all her tears out. That was the last time she cried about Trillo, she said. They broke up sometime in November 2012.
She flew to Canada after finishing her commitments to her 2012 Metro Manila Film Fest entry titled "Sosy Problems." She co-starred in the movie with Heart Evangelista, Solenn Heussaff and Rhian Ramos.
King poured her heart out to her mother, who grew very close to Trillo. “Mas heartbroken yung mommy ko! Mas nahirapan mag-let go yung mom ko.”
“I tell her everything. Pati yung mga dapat hindi mo sinasabi sa nanay, sinasabi ko sa kanya.”
Now, King said her father and grandmother are doing better than before. However, she is preparing herself regarding her grandmother's condition.
Regarding her breakup with Trillo, the actress revealed she has learned a lot about herself and her ability to love fully.
She advised people to love to their best--whether the person is a boyfriend, a sister/brother, parents or friends. It is better to love fully and be hurt than keep that love to yourself, King said.
“Ibuhos mo lahat ng pagmamahal na puwede mong ibigay." She doesn't regret going through the relationship with Trillo, "Nadagdagan ako ng life experience!”
But when it comes to being friends with the actor again, King remained mum and said she doesn't want Trillo to feel uncomfortable with her answer.
King reiterated though that if there's a chance for them to be friends, she is open to speak with him again. She doesn't want to be part of the statistics, the actress said, referring to Trillo's turbulous relationship with Carlene Aguilar and Jennylyn Mercado.
“Bakit naman hindi! I don’t have to love him or like him. But we can be friends! Basta ayoko ng may bad blood.”
King is closing her doors though when it comes to reuniting with Trillo. She said the actor opened her eyes to the kind of man she wants in the future. She also said she learned enough to know Trillo is not the man for her.
In the future, the actress would want someone who shares her love for art and education. She wants someone with the same wavelength as her.
King also prefers to meet someone outside showbiz, preferably one who comes from another industry.
She said it is also important that the person will be proud of her and her career. "Sana yung someone na tatanggapin ako at magiging proud lang sa kung sino ako. Someone who will be proud to be my boyfriend and hopefully my future husband.”
