Dennis Trillo: Talks To Be Held Next Week Regarding Possible ‘my Husband’s Lover’ Showing In VietnamDennis Trillo has revealed that talks will be held next week regarding the possible showing of hit Filipino gay-themed show “My Husband’s Lover” in Vietnam.
The revelation was made by Trillo as he and fellow Kapuso artists Carla Abellana and Michelle Madrigal arrived in the country recently from a trip to Vietnam. The three actors visited Vietnam to represent GMA 7 and partake in the anniversary celebrations of a network there.
“Next week mag-uusap 'ata sila para ayusin na mapalabas ang 'My Husband's Lover' doon,” Trillo told Cata Tibayan in an interview conducted right after the actors got off from their airplane for the Chika Minute segment of 24 Oras.
Meanwhile, Abellana and Madrigal recounted how warm the welcome was for them in Vietnam.
“Pagdating pa lang namin sa airport doon, pagka-land namin doon, ang dami nang sumalubong sa amin. So doon pa lang nagulat na kami, nagsisigawan na sila, meron silang mga posters at nagpapa-picture,” Abellana said.
“Kahit nasa sasakyan na kami talagang kinakatok kami. So parang hindi kami umalis ng bansa,” she added.
Madrigal recounted how happy she and her fellow Kapuso stars felt when they saw they had a following in Vietnam.
“Masaya kami nila Carla kasi ang dami naming fans na Vietnamese. Nawe-weirdan ako kasi naglalakad ako tapos biglang [may nagtatanong] 'Michelle, are you an actress from the Philippines?' Sobrang ang sarap lang ng feeling,” Madrigal said.
