"The Voice Of The Philippines" Starts Live Shows On August 25The last phase of the singing reality show "The Voice of the Philippines" will begin on August 25 (Sunday). The Twitter-trending show will begin forming each coach's top four contestants.
On Sunday, three artists from each team will perform a song chosen by them and their coach. After their performance, the viewers will be allowed to vote during the commercial break. The winners for each team will be announced at the end of the show. By then, the coaches would have to choose between their two remaining contestants who to save and who to eliminate.
This is the first time a 10-minute voting will be conducted by a Philippine singing reality show.
Fans of the show can vote up to 30 times per artist per SIM card. To vote through text, simply key in VOICE (space) name of artist and send to 231 for Smart and Talk N Text, and 2331 for Globe, TM and Sun Cellular. It will be P2.50 per vote.
For those who want to vote online, they can buy ABS-CBN vote cards from SM Department Stores and Mini Stop outlets. E-pins can also be used to vote through http://vote.abs-cbn.com.
Overseas voters, on the other hand, can also vote by going to tfc.tv at the specified time. Votes should be entered at the same time as the Philippines.
The teams that will be performing this Sunday are: Thor Dulay, Cora Dela Cruz and Jessica Reynoso for coach Apl de Ap; Radha, RJ Dela Fuente and Darryl Shy for coach Lea Salonga; Junji Arias, Morrisette Amon and Eva Delos Santos for coach Sarah Geronimo; and Lee Grane, Myk Perez and Talia Reyes for coach Bamboo.
Meanwhile, while waiting for the Live Shows, a Life Show will be aired on August 24 (Saturday). It will feature the artists' life stories and special performances.
The Live Shows will be conducted at the Resorts World Newport Performing Arts Theater, the country's best theater to date. It has thousands of luxurious seats, a grand stage with a huge LED screen and state-of-the-art technology, lightning and sound system.
