Mocha Girls Members Hurt After Road MishapThree members of the Mocha Girls and their manager figured in a road mishap that involved three vehicles on EDSA Greenhills in San Juan early Saturday morning.
According to reports, the women were travelling along EDSA when an AC Trans bus hit them after it was hit by a speeding Toyota Innova.
The three women and their manager Lord Byron Cristobal were left with bruises after the accident. Photos posted by Mae Dela Cerna, one of the Mocha Girls members hurt in the accident, show their late model Kia Rio compact car, driven by Cristobal at the time of the accident, badly damaged.
An ABS-CBN report says that the Innova (ZND 711) was being pursued by the police when it hit the bus. The driver identified as Pancho Gonzales was reportedly drunk while driving and figured in another accident before hitting the bus on EDSA Greenhills.
In an interview with a GMA reporter, Gonzales readily admits that he has had too many to drink before driving. The driver appeared very apologetic about causing the accident.
Meanwhile, the Mocha Girls urged people through their social media sites and through interviews that they should not drink and drive and hurt innocent people in the process.
