44th Box-office Entertainment Awards Branded "sisterakas" Actors As Phenomenal Box-office StarsThe 44th Box-Office Entertainment named Kris Aquino, Vice Ganda And Ai-Ai Delas Alas as Phenomenal Box-Office Stars for their December 2012 movie "Sisterakas."
The movie, which grossed P342 million, was Star Cinema's entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival.
"Sisterakas" even beat Vice Ganda's "Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin" in 2011.
Currently, the film holds the prestige of being the highest-grossing Filipino film.
Meanwhile, the Box Office King & Queen titles were given to ABS-CBN talents John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo for their movie, The Mistress (2012).
The Film Actor of the Year is Dingdong Dantes while Angelica Panganiban and Angel Locsin tied for the female version.
The three worked together during the MMFF 2012 entry "One More Try."
The Prince & Princess of Philippines Movies are awarded to Luis Manzano and Toni Gonzaga.
Coco Martin and Julia Montes followed suit with their own award, the Prince & princess of Philippine television.
Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo got two awards--Most Promising Male & Female Stars of the Year and the Most Promising Love Team.
For their comedic antics, Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola were named Male Concert Performers of the Year.
On the other hand, Ryzza Mae is awarded the "Most Popular Female Child Performer."
She was also hailed as the most popular female child performer. The announcement of winners will be on May 19 (Sunday) at the AFP Theater, Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.
The whole show will be aired on May 26 (Sunday).
