The raid in Pasay City was along Macapagal Avenue while the raid in Los Baños was along a road leading to the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
Ricketts told Philippine broadsheet The Philippine Daily Inquirer that the raids mark the start of what he terms as weekend raids which involve the OMB and authorities conducting raids on weekends, a time of the week vendors of illegal media least expect authorities will conduct raids.
According to the former actor, the OMB will start coordinating with other law enforcement agencies such as the National Bureau of Investigation for a stricter implementation of the law.
